Metal Window Corporations' Heavy Commercial windows are ideal for commercial, residential, school, hospital and factory buildings using fixed, project-out, project-in or casement windows. All ventilators are fully weather-stripped. Butt hinges are welded to frames to assure strength and alleviate unsightly rivets and screws. Four-bar scissor hinges can be used in push-out applications and are used in pull-in applications. All extrusion are 6063-T6.

Windows are assembled without the use of screws or fasteners. Frames and ventilator corners are mitered, reinforced with aluminum angles and welded. All muntins are mortised and welded into the frame to form individually glazed lites.

Series 1000 Architectural windows will accommodate up to 1/2" glazing. Several muntins are available. See "Glazing Bead Details" for details of available bars and stop.

All window types have been tested and certified by a recognized testing laboratory. The ratings which follow for the different windows are some of the highest in the industry:
